EDIT: I think i found the problem....

I tried to email a sample program to a friend who doesn't have DBP, and her computer said that it couldn't find the program that created it and wouldn't let her open it. I'm pretty sure it's an EXE, so I don't understand why it needs DBP to run.

Help, plz

Did you include it all in a nice folder with all the media, the code and the exe? I'm not sure, but that should work.

1. Does he/she know how to open a file?
2. What came up on the screen exactly when he/she tried to open the file?

It's my bet you actually sent them the .dbpro or .dba file which are the project and source code files.

Boo!

hmm...

@Spooky, that could be it, I'll check

@Veron, no I had to teach her that...

@Existence, there's no media, but I shouldn't have to include the source code...

EDIT: Apparently it is a DBPRO file. Oops.

oh!! That explains it! I sent it through YouSendIt.com, and I checked my attachment, and I sent an EXE, but she got a DBPRO.

Thx!!!
