Can you do this cool thingy? It's like in the Jak and Daxter games (number 3 especially). Those who have played it will remember the "Peace Maker" the most supermassive gun you get in the game. When you get the second mod for it, you have the ability to shoot the gun and make enemies suddenly float. When you run into them, they fly across the place with no gravity.

What I'm wondering is, is it possible to either...

a) Somehow script something so there's a really big flash, and then suddenly all the enemies in the room are floating in zero graviy.
b) Make enemies be floating in the air, but when you hit them they float.

As for B, I've twiddled with some settings but I can't get them to fly through the air when you hit them. Any ideas?

Tomorrow I'll try to find a YouTube video of this gun in action. I've searched today, but couldn't find one. Never mind.

Just use the sci-fi anti-gravity canon and then press M to power up with the "Massive Power" cheat and do a running turbo jump with the T key just before you reach the character and when you hit him, he will explode and the pieces will fly off the map and through the sky box, raining down sparks from the accelerated particle system.

No problem.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Never noticed that I should place the 3d decals around it that move the floor and animated the segments then go to player re-name it to fly and fly away

That can be possible.....

.....10 years from now!

But, that'd be a great feature. Funny to do to a robot: OW! *in mechanical voice*

Alright, alright, this just sounds really stupid, I know... but for real now...

I know there's a script, "appearnogravity.fpi" or something. This assumably makes entities float with no gravity, yar? (I do realise they wouldn't be moving, but passive). What I want to know is, can you make it so that when you shoot the floating enemies, when they hit the bullet, they use physics and spin through the air? Forget all that about the gun that can do that. although that would be cool though.

I may not be an expert, but if there is a procedure you call upon hurt, you might be able to give the entity negative gravity so it just floats up.

Your best bet is X10, it's got ragdolls so scripting should just finish the, uh, recipe for destruction

Mmmmm...destruction cake
