There is THREE different sets of segments and character retextures in this pack. A desert set, a grass & dirt set and an urban set.

This pack includes:

grass and dirt set:

- 6 Floor Pieces
- 3 Character retextures

Desert set:

- 3 Floor Pieces
- 3 Wall Pieces
- 3 Character retextures
- 1 Snipers tower model

Urban set:
- 3 Floors Pieces
- 4 Wall Pieces
- 3 Character retextures

Im currently considering a couple of things, price (thinking around £2 or something) and payment method, I'm not 18 yet so i can't use paypal which is a problem.

It's not that i dont want to be able to give this away for free but the time this project has consumed has been extremely great, many an "all-nighter" i've pulled, working on this project.

What are your thoughts?

I don't know if i want to sell them seperately, i mean, I spent countless hours working on it, in total it may have come to about 40 hours at least, between experimental work, re-working some of the textures, ensuring they were seamless, and dont get me started on the characters lol. I dont think £2 or £3 is a lot for this, at least i dont think. Do people think i should sell them seperately? for about £1 each or something?

Cherd,a model pack is a model pack, dont start splitting it up.
You are selling these for a reasonable price and I dont see why anyone should quibble over paying 50 cents for separate parts or 5 dollars for the lot,the whole point in making your pack diverse is to make it attractive to purchasers who may have different needs.
The precedent is there with previous packs,to be honest most folks would be willing to pay more for the quality you are offering,if they dont believe me,check out Turbo squid.

yeah i know, i was originally going to put this on turbo squid, but its a pain in the backside recieving payments if you live outside the US. I have no idea how to set up an online store, however i think pay pal offers a service where i can send invoices out via email requesting payments. SO if i allow people to order via email, i can then send them the invoice, and when i recieve the payment i can then send them a download link to the pack

I think you could try to improve the characters textures a bit.
Most people here seem happy with the pack which is good ofcourse but there's just a few things I notice that could improve it in my opinion.

The faces of the characters look fairly realistic and out of place compared to the rest of the character, I think you could perhaps spend a few more hours making the texture more consistant with the face or the other way around (while I prefer option nr.1).
The colors are very bright and plain perhaps you could tone them down a bit.
The legs are also mirrored, it would be nicer if they had a different pattern continueing from one side to another.

I think also your floors and walls are completely flat and you try to detail everything with texturing, perhaps try to model out a couple of things like the train tracks and perhaps the woodboard.

I appreciate the feedback however, I think for £3 this is a fair deal, If i was to spend yet more hours on this pack then i would be quite tempted to up to price, and if i know the users of this forum, then I believe I'm right to assume they don't like prices being raised lol

Rofl Its now available from my store for £2.00

I've never ran an online store before so I don't know how well the store works, HOWEVER, I have tested it as much as I could and it should work fine, anyone who has any problems tell me and I'll try to sort it. You will need paypal i think to pay for it, as the money goes to my paypal account, once you make the payment follow the instructions below the payment button on the site, just to ensure me to check my paypal for details of the transaction and send you the download details.

Cherd, Im buying soon as my bank transfers money to paypal. Usually 3 to 4 days. I think your asking a reasonable price. One question though. Here and on your site you advertise the pack to be 2.00 GBP, but on the paypal site it is 3.00 GBP. Just thought I'd let you know in case one of these was a mistake.

Not to be picky or anything, but that brick wall looks like the texturizer effect in photoshop if you ask me. You could easily make something much better without any major sweating, just a tip.
Good luck with the pack.

Cherd, you left out the languagebank files for the segments, Since I have signs IV, I was able to fix them. The tower works alright, and I like the re textures a lot. All in all, its a pretty good pack. Thanks.
