Hello, I'm learning how to use the file commands and I can't seem to get strings or other data types to write in my files. Here is the code I am using.



I have created the file user.dat in the C directory. But I can't seem to store strings and other data types in it. What am I doing wrong?


Also is there a way to append data to a file without deleting the previous data?

Thanks for replying, Yes, that was the problem. One more thing can DarkBasic append data to a file kind of like Random Access Files?
