i got a new phone a few days ago (its a nokia 6085), i know how to use blue-tooth easily but for some reason it wont connect with phones like motorolas, i dont know whether it is impossible for it to connect with phones other than nokias or if it is possible somehow, if anyone knows of a way please let me know.

Have you checked the manual that comes with it?
Maybe you need to switch something or so.
I had this too, but after a bit of struggling it worked, don't know how anymore.

Cheers

Bluetooth isn't complicated at all:

Make sure your phones are both public / not hidden.
Use the mobile phones to pair, or to send a file.

There are different standards of BT, but they aught to work together.

Have you set names? Do the phones even have the services you're after?

To send a file, you have to find the file, go to the context menu and select "copy" on the poorly designed Motorola menu. No, I didn't find it either. A friend did.
