I am working on a game right now called, "The Lost Tomb"
If all goes well, then I will be selling this game for probably around
$7 or $8, but anyway, the storyline...

You are driving home from a business party (your a cop by-the-way) when suddenly you realize that you made a wrong turn, so you turn around and start to drive when, out of nowhere, *THUMP, CRASH, BAM!*
you fell into a tomb-like structure underground. You pull out your gun and explore the vast tomb, fighting zombies and such as you make your way through, hoping to discover an exit.

Here is my first screenshot

Looks ok, nice lighting. I think you should work on the story though, you're saying that someone falls down into a tomb in a car, and just happens to have a berreta and gloves with them? Maybe it's just me or the story needs to be extended a bit

I like the weapon, but the hand is on the wrong side of the screen.
You may have noticed the placement of the fingers indicate that it is a left hand. So why is it on the right side of the screen?
LMAO!

Also, You should turn on your Dynamic lights. It looks fake when the weapon is all lit up and your standing in shadows.

Nice wall and floor textures though!

Yep, looks nice. Great use of lightmaps.

And let me state this: Oh great! Another zombie game!!

Seriously, zombie games are (barely) a penny a dozen these days, but make whatever game you wish, There's no penalty for making a pink, girly game with flowers and unicorns. *Looks around; pulls out a Barbie video game*

I think you mean ambient light, Dynamic lights will show you walking in shadows. When you have Dynamic lights off your weapons are always illuminated. Which is okay if your level is well lit with few shadows. But with the ambient light, I usually stay at 3 unless I want to hide a vent in the shadows. Sometimes 0 ambient light is great looking, but you can't see anything when you play your game in the day.

ive decided to stop working on this project. it just isnt doing that good... ive started looking at commercial games and this one doesnt compare to any of them, not even a little bit. but no hard feelings.
hopefully the next game will do a lot better

You can't really make a game that compares with todays commercial standards with FPSC.

Well, don't stop. It just isn't doing that good....that..that isn't an excuse. So what if you think your game isn't good? It's the hard work that matters.

if you're afraid of trying to compete with other games then don't sell it give it away for free so if its good more people will be likily to buy you're next game since they have the knowlodge that you're a good devolper
