anyone buy anything from this store?

I popped into one of the stores and couldn't believe they are selling secondhand goods at brand new prices, a con if you ask me! grrrr....

Cex are quite decent for trade in prices for games but they can rip you off quite a bit with consoles, 28 quid for a boxed ps2 for me, i'd rather keep it, so i did.

Also, at my local cex they have never sold any second hand goods for brand new prices.

no? Cex near me, sell 2nd hand PC3200 1GB RAM chips for £48 which is the same price as a brand new ram chip, scandelous!

just look at all the mobiles, graphics cards all sold at new prices, I did have a conversation with the guy about this, but he didn't seem too bothered, so i won't be buying anything from that rubbish tip.

I got ripped off really bad a while back, but I had to do it for to get a new motherboard. I sold at least 20 PS2 games and only got £49 for the lot, so that was like £0.50-£4.00 a game, its just not worth it unless you really need the money and no one else will help you out with cash.

I probably sound like I'm a druggy needing the money for a fix. A computer druggy needing the money for a pc fix
