In these Videos I showcase some of my favorite unique scripts!
My most prized script is my Remote Controlled robot script.
In my game CAPTIVE, you have to shoot your way throw a SCiFi PoW camp and solve many puzzles to regain your freedom!

One of the puzzles require you to find a replacement battery for a control panel. once you have it, you must navigate the RC robot throw a room full of HAZMATs and have it activate a switch to open a remote door!

Some other scripts you'll notice in these videos are.

My Steaming pipes script:

This script will cause steam to spout from the pipes when they're shot!

And my Folder Script:

This script will show the collected folder in your inventory and when the "F" key is pressed you'll be able to read the note inside!

Watch these two videos and let me know what you think!!
Thank You!

There's no screenie. I'd get one up soon or else it's gonna' get locked.

EDIT: The videos were pretty cool. Some problems with the quality though.

You're using empty's mod, right?

Good job on the scripts, by the way.

Would you mind me stealing your steaming pipe idea for my game?

Yeah,I'm gonna try and see if I can script that too, that was cool.

If games were realistic, we'd have a run away option in FPS games, and RPGs with dead people who stay dead, etc.
Lol.

No. I gave up on Empty's Mod a long time ago.
I loved it, but I had to move on to the ReCall updates
for the better light mapping.

Sure, you can recreate any of my scripts for your games.
If you write it, it's yours! lol

You have to download them to see it better. Filefront makes it look bad when you play it back from their server.

EDIT:

I let one person from the Forum play the level shown in the videos, I'll e-mail him later and see if he'll write a review having seen everything in action!

And thank you all for you kind words, I try to be creative with my scripts because I'm too cheap to buy custom media right now. lol

I used the same type of script to make a box burst into flames when the robot steps on it!

I'm showcasing video's so hopefully I don't need a screenshot. However, I will put up at least one when I get off work today just to keep the MODs happy.

Thank you!

I'm thinking of selling the scripts for the RC-Robot.
But I'm not sure if anyone would buy them.

For a reasonable price, I would buy them.

would $5.50 USD be reasonable?
It's a two part script to control the robot. And there's a third to allow the robot to activate switches as shown in the video.

Of course I'll inlcude all three plus setup instructions.

FYI: I just purchased Vishnu 1.4. So I'll make availible a free download of the level shown so everyone can play it! I'd love to get feedback regarding other puzzles in my games. I'll post a NUE thread when It's ready.
