hello,

if i try to make my 3ds object with an material it does not loads ingame, its just a white colored, maybe its something wrong with Panda DirectX format (.X) or i have to make some changes in settings?

Make sure that your texture is located in the directory with you model. Without it, the model will still load, however the texture will not map on to it.

Probably, however...it is as you suspect...the textures are not exported properly. X files are text, you can see the textures in the file within the materials list. Can you post the X file?

x files are ascii or binary, depending on export.

I'm having similar problems...my textures are only changing the color of my objects.

I'm trying to accomplish creating an old Atari game in true 3D. All I'm trying to do have either a stationary or rotating 3d ship on my title screen. However, if load an image for the background, I can't seem to see my object. And when I turn the background image "off" by REMing it out, my background stays green.

Just to help you guys help me out...I'm more familiar with the 2D world of QuickBASIC, but would very much like to learn how to do a TRUE 3D GAME. I'm trying to learn and understand the extras of the 3D world. I could use some help as well.
