Geek Culture / Looking for bird(?) sound

Well, I was looking for a specific sound, which (I think) originates (in lack of better words ) from a bird specie.

The actual sound occurs in the beginning (and throughout, for that matter) a track that can be downloaded here: http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/1321/22

I think that it also can be found in one Within Temptation song.... or possibly, it was Epica (of course, I don't remember which one and I don't have the time to go through all these records, but just use the link provided above instead )

So, the question is, what animal (bird?) is bringing forth this sound?
The reason; I would like to get hold of some sound samples of it.

If you Google around for a bit an owl is mentioned in a few places to do with that tune.
