Refractor 3?

However I don't see why you'd be interested, as I don't think it's for sale, if it was you probably wouldn't be able to afford it and there are many other decent engines out there. Plus you can always mod Battlefield 2.

Don't quote me on this, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's Renderware. EA purchased Criterion a few years ago and got the Renderware middleware with the sale, which might have been a huge help when they ported the game over to the Xbox and Xbox 360.
