I was just wondering how popular a southpark game would be? If a Southpark game was created would you play it, please comment if you would or would not. I was just sitting here on my computer on youtube, and then I thought "A Southpark game, that would be fun!" I am just wondering if it's a good idea, and if there already is one, please tell me where I can get it.

There was a Playstation southpark game. It kinda sucked ass - like rather than make a funny or enjoyable game, they made a turkey fest of a travesty of a first person shooter.
You had to throw snowballs at turkey's, millions of turkeys, and your pals if you wanted to play split screen. Really nasty little game that probably made them a fortune.

A southpark game might be a nice idea if you can keep that southpark look - the old paper cut out style should be easy enough to emulate - if your planning on going 3D then I suggest you simply forget it, a 3D southpark game is a complete cop out. You could use simple plains like cut out pieces of paper, textured to show face animations. It would be very easy to make 3D models, throw in a cartoon shader, but that's been done and didn't go down too well.

Maybe more of an adventure game would be an idea - like maybe the boys need to raise money to buy the latest videogame console, so you could have them do chores for popular residents of southpark.

P.S. If you use Cheesy Poofs as energy replenishers I will come to your house and cut you .

Golden Park made in DBC was 3D, and I thought that kept the Southpark look pretty well, I liked it. However, the one with the Turkeys was simply annoying.

I was thinking of a game of Southpark where the levels are based off of real episodes. I wasn't planning on making the game, but I know some episodes that would fit well into a game.

There was a very popular Doom WAD file based on SouthPark. It did really well - but that was probably 10 years ago.

There was also South Park Rally, a racing game by Acclaim from 1999. I have it for pc cdrom. It was ok but the tracks got too hard too soon and it became unplayable after a while. Would have like to seen the whole game but I couldnt find cheats or a way to make the ai fair.

I'm the same as Ruccus, I would still play the southpark game today, as I found it fun. May look awful now, but its still fun to play with friends. I had it for the PS1 though.
