I know this question is completely stupid, and I have a 99.9 chance of not getting the answer I want, I know that this is one of the most asked question that no one likes to hear, and everyone thinks the person who asked it is out of thier mind, but I just wanted to know if anyone would be able to give me C++ lessons over email, I know that I have a low chance of somone saying yes, but it's just somthing I really want to learn, so I am willing to ask this noob question just in high hopes of getting a 'yes' answer.

Why not just find a good C++ tutorial?

While I agree that actually having someone there to help when you need it, someone who knows just what the problem is, or the best solution is, is vital to learning a new language, I do have to agree that it's not likely you'll get anyone willing to help out for nothing.

You're best off starting somewhere small, maybe get one of those Sam's in 20 days books, or find a good website packed with tutorials (Google can help out here).

I started with a teach yourself C in 20 hours book, learnt all the essentials, then I slowly moved on to C++, but eventually wasn't learning that much until I hit Uni and I took it all in like a sponge

Come to think of it, I have been to this website before a long time ago, does it really have everything about the C++ language in it?

As far as I know. Almost everything I know about C++ I learnt from there, it's a very good tutorial.

Would that be a sponge at the bottom of the deep blue C?

Well, my pants do represent some form of a geometrical object...
And, I do have a pointy friend...

But, no.
