Bigpond and ACMI are offering over $1mill to the winner of a competition to help develop their video game.

the project is aimed at helping young go getters (or old ones) into the games industry by offereing prizes to runners up and over a million bucks to get your idea produced. So if you're an Australian with a sweet game idea check out the link and apply, it closes august 22nd so hope you got an idea ready :S. I'd enter but I don't think any of my ideas are really up to scratch against some college guys entry. Maybe next year for me
