Have you tried Tescos? They were pretty good for performance cars.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Going on your dads insurance is a false economy it won't earn you any no claims, best bet for you is probably 3rd party, fire & Theft. Knowing if you wreck your car you get nothing makes you drive realy safely

If you have a modified car I find Priviledge the best.

Do not touch Adrian Flux with a barge poll they ripped me off big time. As far as I'm concerned they are con merchants. Offer you cheap price, then when they got your money, they say something wrong and put it up. If you say "no I don't want it then", they charge you £50 + 1months insurance!! never ever again!

But most won't recognise it which means you are stuck with that one insurer and they might not offer a good deal the next time it comes to renew because they know you are caught in their trap

Also if you have an accident, it's your first car so it's likely, your dad would lose his no claims.

Going on you dads insurance should mean he is the owner and main driver of the mini. If the insurers found out after an accident it was your main car they might be funny about paying out.

Speaking of cars, I fitted my onboard RC plane video camera to my Skyline today and went for a bit of a rag! It's quality. I'm like those Get Away in Stockholm guys, except there are no police involved and I didn't put anyone's lives in jeperdy, and it's in the UK, and it's not at night time, and I was going quite as fast .... but apart from that, it's exactly the same!
