Just stumbled over this at IGN:

http://uk.ds.ign.com/articles/801/801853p1.html

Looks pretty cool - got to be better than Brothers in Arms DS.

Wow, that is surprising, lets hope they can make it as fun and fast as metroid is, the controls on that were pretty damn cool, i didn't suffer any of this "hand cramping" that everyone else seemed to.

doesnt look that good tbh, i suppose for the ds its as good as it can get though, saying that the psp version looks great but the gameplay isnt so good, so you cant judge a game by its graphics

why is it hes holding what appears to be an M-16 or M4 rifle when those were neither in the game, nor the war?

Its following COD4, which is a fictional modern day war...

It's probably following Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that is soon to be released as opposed to the second world war setting in the previous games. That would also explain the personal radar and navigation in the second screen, not something you'd rely on in the seconf world war either.

[edit] Looking at the link, it is just the DS version of COD 4: Modern Warfare, so yeah.

This is certainly worth me buying, though I can't find my DS charger, but that can be replaced with a measly £6.

Currently the only reason I'm not buying a DS is the fact that I will never get exercise again.

Don't see how, unless you only care about graphics.

Really, the PSP for FPS games is kinda like the original Playstation, with no decent aiming control your kinda left holding a turd.

The DS on the other hand has already proven that it can do playable FPS games, if CoD was any good on the PSP then I'd be posting about that instead surely . That screenie looks maybe half as good as the PSP version, yet it still get's us DS fans wet at the thought of it.
