my precious semi- gaming laptop laptop that has served me so well for the past year is doing pretty bad. mainly its my monitor casing. after several "operations" on the antenna and the monitor,(i fixed the antenna 2 times and replaced a broken monitor which in the end turned out to be working but had a loose connection). the fragile monitor case finally started to fall apart and i am afraid i am out of options to fix it. the mount where the actual monitor is connected to the case has been broken from much opening and closing. The actual case was attached to the mount from the outside thus holding the mount together. but the very thin plastic was very fragile. My attempt of fixing the already cracking section resulted in breaking.

and now the other side of the corner started to crack.

this kind of problem requires me to buy a new screen case along with some metal parts that are attached to the screen that attach to the
mounts.

I don't need a new screen, ( have 2 already) but everywhere i look on the web, for my model its either a screen without a case or a barebone model.

i can't find just the case and the mounts anywhere. i don't want to buy a new laptop because this one will still serve me for years if i fix it (even if i don't it still works great).

does anyone know or have any idea were to get these parts or how to fix it?

LOL at that repair with the big screw thru the monitor

Only thing i can suggest it contact the manufacturer or scoure ebay for dead one.

or seeing as you like screws in your monitor put a big door hinge on the back

You can use Halford metal bonding glue (they use it on the Lotus Elise) if not got room for more screws
