Stupid question, but is it a movie called Monsters? I have to find it on YouTube, since I don't have quicktime installed.

I found a vid on YouTube actually, but paramount had complained within 20 hours of it being uploaded and YouTube removed it. So looks like Apple probably has an exclusive trailer!

That actually looks really good. I love the way its filmed, I hope its like that throughout.
That is probably the first ever horror film snippet I have seen where it looks "genuine" the people's reactions look real etc.

Haven't seen the whole thing yet but this is either going to be the best horror flick ever and may finally succeed in scaring me or its going to go down as one of the greatest "could-have-beens" in the history of film.

I wish this films team all the best, they are doing a great job so far and I can hardly wait for this.

I saw it in a transformers preview as well, but as of yet there is no name, its being called "clover leaf" right now as a sort of nick name one of my friends says.

The Statue of Liberty always gets crapped on in major movie disasters. Looks interesting.

That's because the Statue of Liberty is a physical representation of peace and freedom, by destroying it movies can portray the possibility of that being taken away from you. It's a not-so-subtle use of symbolism that many movies take advantage of.

Only it was made by the french and we all know how militant they are!

lol, jokes people, jokes.

Looks like a sweet movie actually. I love that type of thing. 28 Days later and 28 Weeks later are two of my favourite films.

Meh, looks like more of the Blair Witch Project, which IMO, were about two of the worst scary flicks I've ever seen.

The whole shaky-camera thing doesn't make for a good movie...

When used in small amounts, and with at least a little bit of finesse (like in Battlestar Gallactica), then it's ok, but when used excessively, it's just annoying

You obviously haven't seen Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2. Now that is pure awful right there. The films are about as frighting as a box of kittens.

I couldn't agree more. Its more unintentional comedy than horror.

At least the ending to blair witch was a tiny bit freaky even if the rest of the film was cack.

Blair Witch 1 was interesting. Good creepy atmosphere. I'd be hard pressed to call any scary movie 'scary'. I can't think of the last time a movie actually scared me.

The closest thing was in the Hills Have Eyes, I was 'afraid' that the baby would get killed. I actually cared about its welfare, I guess because I have kids and it seemed perfectly horrible what was going on. I really liked that film. It wasn't about saving the world or blasting monsters, it was about getting his freaking kid back no matter what.

Before that the last time a movie scared me I was 9 and there was some TBS movie about a satanic trailer park. I saw Satan and had a nightmare. Blah Now I work for him.

I agree, there haven't been very many scary movies that are actually scary. The grudge scared me the first time I heard that wierd noise. But then It was just lame.

ROFL @ the hollow, copper, head of the Statue Of Liberty flung at a building with enough velocity to supposedly obliterate the top portion of the building (concrete and steel), and yet it lands mostly intact on the street -hahaha!

I get the concept of "suspension of disbelief" when it comes to movies etc, but c'mon, try to keep it within the realm of the somewhat-possible with regards to the laws of physics, sheesh
