I was wondering if it was possible to make an entity have a weapon of some sort that blinds you periodically with a flashbang attack that also does damage? If not is there a flashbang grenade that you could give to the entity? I have never scripted in fpsc before, if you could be nice enough to help out a newb it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

This should be possible.

I would try to trigger an entity that sets ambience to max for a short period of time, as well as all colour channels, combining that with a health loss of the player.

It`s not a bug, it`s a feature

In addition you could also display a white picture that covers the screen that fades away.

well, ertlov.
That script looks great, but...since I'm a noobey compared to scripting, what do you mean by enter trigger here, and enter timer here?

Remove the plraddhealth-line, I don't see a reason to make the character get damaged by a flashbang..
Also, you might want to increase the time it takes before the effect wears, by say another 3000 milliseconds.

And you could have 3-5 white screens with different opacities, so it looks like they fade away.
