Firstly, when you were the last person to post, click on "edit post" under your avatar and put your new message at the end of the old one (put [EDIT] before the new part so that I know it's new). This just saves space

.
As for your HP bars, you've done a bit of unnecessary work here; your bar doesn't really suit the medieval setting

and when making a bar make the "case" empty, and along side it 1% of the bar, then when we put it in the game we can simply put the bar in the case and scale it to the player's HP

you could even make a couple of different colours (like you've done) using the same method. Less work and more accurate too.
I'd say we're doing pretty well here, after only a couple of hours we nearly have a complete concept

. Here is my version of the story (you're right they shouldn't get mugged lol)
Story:
The world of Annoma is at war, the most colossal war of all time. The honourable King Thalgomire leads his men from the west province of Erringdale against the evil armies of Kerrandor to the east; ruled by the sly King Visgard.
Until now both sides have been equal to each other, but there has been a grave betrayal. Sir Breggiane, a once loyal knight and servant of King Thalgomire, attacked the King and stole his most sacred possesion, the Lion's Scepter, and defected to the evil King Visgard. Now that Visgard has the Scepter his powers are growing and an evil curse is spreading out across the land.
King Thalgomire, wounded and betrayed, must recover the Lion's Scepter if he is to save Erringdale. The war has been a taxing one, the bodies of once great soldiers lie strewn around the castle, and only a handful remain to protect the Royal Family and the citizens of Erringdale. Thalgomire cannot spare a single knight, and so he selects the three most promising students from Erringdale's knight academy to send on this most imperative mission, to recover the Lion's Scepter...

Animations:
I think we should break up the characters into upper and lower body, then we could have them attacking at the same time as running etc.
Each animation needs a front, back and side version.
On Foot
* Walking/Running
* Sword attack (across and back)
* Bow aim/attack low/high
* Spear attack
* Shield low/high
On Horseback
* Sword attack
* Lance attack
and that's just for the characters!
I am king of the noobs!
