I understand x10 has not been released yet, but in total, how much would Vista, DX10 and all the other requirements cost?

Well, it depends on what you currently have in your PC.

The smartes thing to do if you don't have alot of money to spend is:
Buy a comp. with a pentium 4 or higher CPU with at least windows vista basic and a non x10 video card. Then take out the old video card and sell it on e-bay or something, buy an x10-compatible card (some are less than $100 USD) and install that.

All you really need to run it is vista and a direct x10 compatible chip, which are dirt cheap if you're looking for minimum look at the nvidia 8500 or 8600gt. At least 1gb of ram which most people should have anyway, and a dual core processor, while intel has better ones, AMD is going down the tubes and are selling really damn cheap dual core cpus.

But it really depends on what you already have that determines what you'll need to upgrade.

The sad fact is that i can read script, but i just cant write it.
