So. We started this project pretty long time ago (we haven't been working with it all day long) but now we really started to work with this.
The game is going to be survivalhorror with some action (similiar to F.E.A.R without stunning graphics)though, we are working with custom graphics. The wall/floor/ceiling graphics will be approx. 80% selfmade.
We are planning to make some custom models too, but the team is pretty small (5 persons). This is not a team request so let's get straight to business:
Vague is taking place in near future (2014) in 1.6 million people island-city. A virus has spread all over the city and there's only 100-200 people alive (This sounds kinda cliché, but keep reading).
The virus started to spread when a V.I.O.W (Virus Infected Organic Weapon) escaped from a laboratory (cliché too). V.I.O.W started to attack humans. When a human gets infected by the virus, it will take from 10secs to 10hours(depending how good is the immune system of the victim)to turn the human to so called "zombie". You control a guy, who wakes up in middle of the nightmare: Ryan Jefferson. Ryan wakes up in his office (lazy b******) and notices, that someone is screaming. This is where the game starts.
Now here are some features:
- 80% custom segment graphics
- Cool story sequenses: Comic strips (Similiar to Max Payne)
- Colorful story (atleast we try)
- Custom HUD (ofcourse)
- Good music (one of our musicians has 10 year experience)
- Puzzles where you need to occasionally use your brains
- Readable diaries, memos etc
- Secret areas
- Small amount of custom models
- Small amount of custom decal animations
- Some custom sounds
