I bought a laptop from Ibuypower not too long ago and I'm looking to buy a spare battery. I found the proper batteries, but I have a quick question. The 2 links below appear to be the same battery, just with a different manufacturer's name in the title, lol. There is an obvious price difference and I was wondering if its possible to know if the cheaper Alienware one would do the trick. They both have the same specs, same picture (which is identical to my current laptop battery), just different prices.

Also, if anyone knows of good site for buying computer batteries, shout it out. Newegg doesn't have my battery, so that's out.

Thanks guys.

Look at the battery you got now if it says 11.1v then the 2nd one should work, if it says 10.8V maybe not. You best ask the shop selling it realy then it's their fault if they give you bad advice

Don't worry about 4400 mAH being different the higher this number the better, it means it will hold more charge.

Laptop batteries are clomplex beast as i learned in a power cut and tried to wire one up to power a torch. Damn battery blew out and it cost me £60 for a new one. The torch was okay though, Doh!

Well, I decided I'd just spend the extra money on the battery that is supposed to be a valid replacement for my current one, just to be safe. I'd rather not have to return one if it doesn't work and go through all that hassle.
