Back in June, I released a statement that I was making 2 model packs for release here on the forums.

One of them is the Food & Drink Model Pack, which this thread has more information on.

—UPDATE—
Texturing is almsot completed. You'll have in-game screenshots by the end of the day.

—UPDATE—
I've just UV mapped the meshes with some more realistic looking textures. I'll bring you some in-game screens when I'm finished. Sorry about the delay, working on two model packs at once.

—ORIGINAL POST—

Above is just a preview of what's in the pack.

The pack will include:
Static Food and Drink Entities
Dynamic Food and Drink Entities.
Customized specific scripts for each object.
Many objects to choose from.
Medium polygon/face count for smooth playing.
Multiple textures for each item.
and more!

Items
Burger
Drink
Fries
Pancakes
Loaf of Bread
Gelatin
Cake
Slice of Cake
Fried Eggs
Toast
Watermellon
Watermellon Slice
Microwavable Dinner
Chips
Cookies
Ice Cream
Pizza
Pizza Slice
Various Dinners & Breakfast Sides

F.A.Q.

Will the pack be free?
There will be 2 versions of the pack, a free mini-pack, and a full buyable version with full features.

How much will the FULL pack cost?
$9.99 USD, £4.99, €7.49 depending on country.

What will the license be for the pack?
The free version will be for non-commercial use ONLY. You may use the FULL VERSION for commercial use.

Could I re-distribute the pack if I buy it?
No.

Will the pack be copyrighted?
If I am permitted to copyright it, yes it will be copyrighted.

When will the pack be released?
Sometime soon.

Please post here with any questions, comments, or concerns. I will gladly answer.

looks nice in a cartoon way.Too high polly for FPSC use in my opinion. You could achive the same results with a bit less pollys. For an object that's just decoration its considered high not medium. What are the pollycounts anyway(at least on what we see here)?

I will provide in-game screens at a later time.

Burger — 335 polygons
Fries — 721 polygons
Drink — 178 polygons

I filled a 10 x 10 x 1 room with all the items in the pack x 3 + lighting, and maintained an FPS of 31.

It looks pretty cool, we could use some food stuff.

As for the poly-counts, they are a bit high. They drink'll probably do fine the way it is, since it's not that hi-poly, but I'd try to cut down on the burger and fries. By cutting down on the burger, you could make the beef seem more irregular, and instead of having a seperate cheese-object, you could extract some faces to make it look like the cheese had melted onto the burger. That's my two öre, lol. Keep up the good work!

Thanks. Are you really making a restaurant pack? Or was that sarcasm?

@Roger Wilco
I might actually use a polygon reducer to remove un-needed faces. The poly counts are pretty high, but it really didn't cause a problem to my fps, just reduced it by 1 frame (frome 32 fps to 31). I'm trying to find a way to make the fries a little bit more low poly, by maybe 200 faces or so.

Great work so far.

It 's an entity pack with three themes:
Fast Food
Classy
Buffet
I'm not sure if I am going to add segments or not.
