I have been trying to create a system to launch a type of equipment out of a cannon (For those that own the Halo books or halo2, i mean kind of like a MAC gun (Magnetic Accelerator Cannon)) I have tried turning doors on their side and making their closing speed very fast, in an attempt to make an object be squeezed in between the 2 door halves it would make it fly up, but all i have gotten is a bounce about 2 feet high... Does anyone know a better system that can launch an item into space at will? If you can help me with this, i thank you.
