!DEMO RELEASE!

How do I grab my demo of XenWorld Editor?
Follow these steps...
1. Go to my website, DarkDev
2. Go to the XenMedia page under 'Content'
3. Scroll down to the paragraph for XenWorld Editor and click the download link!

How do I use XenWorld Editor?
1. Load an object, x or dbo
2. Click on the object you want to control
3. Use the tools on the tool bar to move it around
4. Save the level to formatted DBA code!

Have fun!

In the course of programming an MMO, making a level editor can be a very handy thing.

So I'm going to release it for free, courtesy of XenMedia.

This does not manipulate objects, its simply a world editor that allowed you to load objects and place them in the level, then save the level file to DBA formatted code.

Here goes...

When will someone make one that saves in LUA code

You would have a market beyond DBP then

Good luck with it.

You need yrotate on your xenworld tool bar

How will your product differ from World v1.0?
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=92612&b=5

I know it might sound cruel, but there is no point duplicating it.
Saving world object locations in .LUA and .XML formats might add an interesting twist but i expect you are going stick them to the map as limbs?

Dude, really, you need to email Xeno if you have a personal question. And besides, I took a look at your thread, and some one already told you, Blue GUI doesn't not have syntax highlighting. He also suggested another tool to use. I suggest you do that, instead of hijacking some one else's thread. I'm not sure whether or not you did it on purpose, but you should email him instead.

And xeno, looks great. You're welcome for that " problem.

I'm sure he doesn't mind. And I am not hijacking purposely. I did find out that WinGUI didn't have syntax. I read in WIP.

JSG, and Dabip, thanks!

Dabip, thanks big time with the quotation mark problem!

JSG,
Sorry, but I can not really help you there. Syntax highlighting, saving, and opening files is pretty much 75% of your program. If I help you with that, then I think I would deserve to call it more of mine then yours.

And Im already way too busy to work on another project. Sorry.

But keep your progress up!

And he's right, I would like personal questions through e-mail
