Ok,well,I'm happy I decided to wait to get my new computer. The core 2 quad q6600 dropped in price quite significantly. So much in fact I can even get an 8800GTX now, which excites me. Or I could get an e6850 for the same price... Who knows. But anyhow,I'm excited now!

I don't know of anything that takes advantage of quad cores apart from some rendering and 3d tools..

Ah who cares about power when you don't have it? But dude, computers are getting quite powerful and I still haven't jumped on the media bandwagon. Of course Intel Core 2 quad processors would never beat the awesomeness of a P4 1.5ghz...or even the P3 800mhz...ooh I got you there didn't I? nobody can beat that!

Seppuku - Ok,yeah, you got me. Well...not quite....BEAT MY P4 1.3 GHZ!!!! Yeah! I cant outdo the p3 though. I wish I had your computer man

Edit - Indi, you reminded me of something. Why does everyone act as if wow is a benchmark for gpus? Isnt that game from like...2001? I think... All I know is that I saw my friend playing it and it looked lame and not good graphics. Or did they come out with a new version recently?

I put a sledgehammer through my old P1-133 before moving abroad if it makes you feel any better. And my old P2-450. My 286, 386, and 486 were forgotten in my parent's old house, as well as various old computers (and all games) that were given to charity without my permission or knowledge. That is real heartache right there...

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
