Well, I got back from my 4 day trip to Rome with my school and my sisters informed me that we are now getting rabbits (twice the mess ). This is OK news as looking after our neigbors' rabbit for 2 weeks was quite fun, but I'm sure that my sisters will get bored in a month or so and I'll get stuck clearing up all the mess and crap !

This is just a random post about nothing inperticular, not a question or anything.

A long while back, when I lived in Seattle, there was a lady across the street who owned a huge amount of rabbits. She didn't take care of them though... they kept nibbling out of their cage and running over to my house. Finally bought a cage for them-- but naturally that's when someone else buys them.

Sorry, just triggered an old memory .

Depending on where you live there can be nasty restrictions on how many pets you can own. In Washington state it was... I think 4 per household. Nasty restrictions. Here in NH, they really don't give a damn... but go ballistic over crazy things like walking without a 'walk' sign

I have a cute little bunny that comes into my backyard. I have no idea where it comes from. It comes and eats on my plants. So I pick it up and feed it some veggies and get it full so it will leave my plants alone. Sure is cute though.
I am thinking about building a cage and keeping it.

One attacked the other, they may need to be kept apart, the male has a hole in his ear right now.

Good luck to you! I have 2 rabbits and 3 guinea pigs. When we first oput our rabbits in their pen they immediately escaped into the garden and they roamed the garden for 3 months. (destroying it)

They are now penned and have completely excaved the whole area, it turns out ours a serious BURROWERS. I'm just waiting for the subsidence to kick in!

If you want a easy going pet, get 2 guinea pigs (maybe 3 but not 1 - livelier in numbers) - they are most rewrding.
