As that question has been asked a few thousand times before, I'm sure that using the SEARCH button at the bottom of the screen would find the answer for you far far quicker than waiting for someone to tell you here.

There are also tutorials on the subject too. When someone spends a great deal of time writing them for new users (like I have) it's very irritating to find that they've not even bothered to look for them!

Take a look at the stickies at the top of the DBC board and this one for a start and see what sort of things are covered in the tutorials.

What makes you think I didn't?

I pointed out the facts, I wasn't rude, I didn't flame him and I told him where to go to get the answer to his question.

What more could I be expected to do?

Considering the fact that I wrote a detailed and lengthy tutorial on making clickable buttons which he didn't even attempt to look for, I could have made a much less polite post!

TDK was right from the beginning.

That's ridiculous, that link tells you 3 methods of how to do it, you're just too lazy to do it yourself. If you're too lazy to even learn how to make a clickable button just quit now, there's no way you'll be successful as a programmer.

By the way, no one post code, all your doing is pushing him on, and unless he can take the time to scroll down a few inches and read the code in TDK's tutorial, he doesn't deserve it.

Gil Galvanti, he wrote

What was the point of rewriting it and then useing the rewritten text to be rude? That's not a very nice attitude, to put it in an nice way. And he did read the tutorial TDK linked him to, and it helped him, so please, don't behave as an jurk.

If you look at Lee's post, you'll see that it has been edited since it was originally written.

The section of text from Lee's post that Gil used might have been what was actually there when he quoted it.

Look at his post. He edited that part out of it, my quote is is original post. And I wasn't being a jerk, I was only pointing out that that link had everything he needed, even though he didn't realize it, because he just wanted the code given to him.

Good, glad you read it. Sorry if I sounded harsh, but it annoys me when someone gives someone a perfectly good link and they apparently don't read it. In your case it was because you wanted the code supplied to you, which it was, in the tutorial.

Didn't notice that he edited his post.

Gil Galvanti,
For what it's worth, you're not a jurk, you just pointed something out that needed to be pointed out. But since he edited his post before I could read it I missunderstood you. So it was just an missunderstanding.

Then I guess that harsh post did something good. Don't ask for code, Lee, ask for help to code. In the end, it will make you feel better of what you've done since it's yours and not something built up by other peoples work .
