Theres somethin wrong with the php code on these forums..

When I try to go to my threads, it goes to a blank 'apollo_jump.php' page and doesnt redirect me.

When I post, the post goes through to the database, but it doesnt redirect me back to the thread, it stays at the blank post page.

When I click 'newest post' for a thread listing item, it takes me to a blank page and doesn redirect me...

So you see, its kind of annoying to handle these weird errors. What have I done to encounter them? How do I make it so these errors don't happen?

Thanks,
Mansoor S.

Sounds like your client isn't handling the redirects properly - I'm not having any noticeable issues. What browser are you using? Have you tried an alternative? Have you tried logging out and in again to reset the cookie and session? Do you have this problem from any other machines with your account or someone elses?

How fast is your connection?
What time are you accessing the forum? (It's been noted in the past that during busy periods the forum starts to act weird)

My connection is fast, and this happens all the time now. Early morning, afternoon, and midnight.

I'm using FF. I tried logging in and out, and I cleared ALL of my private data (cache, cookies, browsing history).

None of these methods made the errors go away.

...I just tried using IE. All the same errors occur, except its not a blank page. It tells me that IE couldn't display the page.

That happens to me all the time.

Are all your DLL's intact?

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's too big--- 300k!?

The only problem i have with it is that when you do a search, click though, then go back, you have to click the refresh button every time.

Ok, it's been a while since this thread was started.

But, I'm really getting sick of this.

Now, whenever I try to update my profile- everything is blank to begin with. So my old signature... gone. All my settings... what settings?
Just to get this new avatar up I had to go through everything re-setting it.

What is the problem here!?

Meh. Signatures. Lame :p

This is really weird, PHP operates in the server so I don't see how your computer is causing it. Did you do something to the computer to cause this or did you have these problem all the time but never told anyone?

There's something wrong with the quotes..etc always going to the end of the text, and not where the cursor is.

I don't see how that would happen, is there anything you did to your computer or install any software or even change your computer configuration before this started?(I don't think posting a message would ever mess up you and only you)

an imaginary number is a number multiplied by i, where i is the square root of negative one.

What's TGC Heroes?

@Xenocythe
Sorry man, that sucks. :/ I can't think of a reason why this is happening, perhaps you should try under another user account.

Are you going through a proxy? If the proxy is broken, pages you visit will be too.

Do you have Norton Internet Security installed? That has a nasty habit of actually injecting things into Web pages you are visiting or mangling pages when it checks them for nasties. I know it can break things like Outlook Web Access. If you are running it (or something similar) try temporarily turning it off, emptying your browser cache, and restarting your browser. Then visit the page and see if there is any change before enabling Norton again.

No proxy, no Norton. I really have no idea what could have caused the problem
