hey people .. i am not so good in fpsc and i got a question . how can i create blood sprites in photoshop and save it for fpsc , but i need that only blood will be on the texture .. not he background , i did some , but i got the black background color on it .. how can i remove it and leave only the blood splat ? please help me .

P.S i Got PS7 and DDS Nvidia plug in.

You'll need to make an alpha map, and export it with.. uh, lemme check.. The DXT-5 settings (with interpolated alpha).
If you're unfamiliar with alpha maps, then I'd suggest you check google for a more in-depth description and tutorials on how to add them. Basically, it's a black and white texture that determines the level of transparency on your texture, white being fully visible and black being invisible. Hope that helps somewhat.
