Ok, Im new to scripting and modeling(etc) Now, I was working on my Hud images for lives(etc) and made the background black. I saved it as a .DDS file. It shows up, but its still black. When I searched the forum, the threads said black is not supposed to be shown(transparent)?

Im using PS Elements 5.

Since you saved it black how was it supposed to be? Green?

The problem is not if there isn't after-death-life. The problem is if there is no life in life!

Well I thought black was transparent, but I found a thread about HUD's and transparency. Thanks though.

well if your using the .dds plugin for adobe photoshop you can save the image with transparency, meaning you dont put anything in the background at all.
