Hello forum people I've recently made a new website that I am going to use for my, Noobisoft Studios. It doesn't have a lot of stuff yet but its plans are big. There isn't a lot to explain, but if you get the time, I think you should check it out If you haven't noticed, I don't have a domain name yet

Noobisoft makes the best games.

I wish I worked for them. Their employees get paid high wages and sometimes are paid in unloneliness.

I like the last question on the job form...
"Are you serious about working for Noobisoft?"
-Yes
-No

No, they're only filling out the form for fun...

First off, guys be nice. Second, TGC is not a place to recruit employees.
As for your site, Its kinda basic I mean its a Freewebs board so its not exactly the most costum site. I reccomend getting somthing like Dream Weaver and learning how to use that. And if you are seriouse about starting your own game devlopement team together then get some friends that have skills and are willing to work for fun not for money. Then you guys can split the profit for any games you sell (IF you sell any) there are lots of good exaples of sites floating around TGC just click our web buttons.

If you're anywhere near serious, you may want to consider buying noobisoft.com, as it is available.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

No, I think it's a great name, but if you want it, you need to get it before someone else see's what you're doing and takes it.

Site looks pretty good (ignoring the limitations of freewebs templates), you could always get a free .co.nr url but that isn't the most professional url available if you plan to make this into a commercial company.

I'm ok with CSS, no expert or anything though.

You could also try these already made templates, they're still less frequently used than freewebs templates. http://www.freecsstemplates.org/

I may be wrong but I thought there was something about not having self-publicising of websites or something but I'm not sure. That might just have been forums, so if thats the case, my apologies.

Try and wait until tomorrow and send another form. I think the problem is that a spammer filled out SO many forms (like 30) and used it all up. People like that get me really pissed off. If you still can't fill out a form, just post on the Noobisoft Forum requesting admission to join. (Or do it now if you want to)

EDIT: I just emailed Freewebs and asked when I can get a refill on the forms. Until then, if you want to, you can post a request in the Join Noobisoft Forums

Oh man, this website is taking me back 4 years ago to my own phase of corporate babble, empty download sections, silly "company" email addresses, optimistic "about" pages, cheesy web templates, and bone dry forums...

It'll be a long path bud, but don't quit.

Those forums are slow...

You might either make a massive success or fail miserably.

Quote: "Oh man, this website is taking me back 4 years ago to my own phase of corporate babble, empty download sections, silly "company" email addresses, optimistic "about" pages, cheesy web templates, and bone dry forums..."

Something tells me you didn't write that for compassion, but for a "funny" post. Well, it's not really fun. Some people are ready to give their all to game development, and they need a start, as all of us did. Now, if you want to tell him what to expect, saying silly "company" email addresses won't get him anywhere. Let him learn from his own experience. And seeing your intelligence, you're wasting your life

i dont' know i extremely tempted to get a .co. nr. website until my .com was registered. since i already had the .com designed, so i just waited.

as for hiring people. you should get some ppl to join but you'll need to put up a game your working on". so they have something to work for. some ppl do though like working for "future" profit. but if u already got a game ur getting cash on and your gonna hire some1 thatproves that ur legit even if ti's altleast one game. all ofmy team is people i know.

.tk has an annoying toolbar that it forces onto the top of your .tk site for advertising purposes, if you want a free domain get .co.nr/, their only main down side is that you have to place a small link back to their site on your page somewhere, however it's still better than .tk in my opinion.

Awesome thanks. If I get one from there, can I still edit my website with Freewebs? Or will I have to use HTML?

EDIT: Their registration is closed until August 15 lol. Do you know of any other free domain places?

You can still edit with freewebs, just carry on logging onto your freewebs account in the same way as before. The .co.nr/ site should just mirror the content of the freewebs site.

Kinda missed the whole point of my post bud, which is to not take all this stuff too seriously. Don't worry about striking a successful publishing agreement, getting a huge fan base, and selling a ton of copies. Just develop for the love of it, like I did.

And remember to chillax and not get winded up from forum posts! You just sound like you're trying to pick at something for the sake of it, just because you're under the impression you're only defending a beginner from some apparent mistreatment. Why are you getting offended for power pwnerer? I'm sure he can make up his own mind whether what I said was to put him down or to simply poke some fun and encourage him on. We've all been there.
