FPSC Classic Models and Media / Is dark matter compatible with FPS Creator?

Well you heard it...

I thought it would be compatable with FPSC (or the entity maker) since they are in ".x" format.

They are compatible but You will have to scale them up, they are allot smaller than standard FPSC Characters and rig then with a new biped then add the FPSC stock animation.

yes it is, but i personally dont think its worth it. you have to do everything chupa cabra said.

you don't actually need to re-rig the characters, as they already have their own animations, but you will need to write your own scripts and FPE files.

Yes you would, all the animations are seperate models. In Darkbasic you have to go through a process of hiding and showing different models to get them working. I don't think that it's worth it.

Maybe since the fpsc model packs are now available for DB, they should make dark matter for fpsc.

i got it free with darkbasic i think =/ never used it, and going on what you have all said i doubt i ever will.

yea... i do think they should have dark matter for FPSC... heck they should have very thing on the site compatable with every TGC program...

Ah, on the contrary, use could just use the Append Object command. Much easier and doesn't eat up memory....though this is DBP (and DBC) not FPSC so it isn't any use here

Lets just all agree that NO FPSC USER should use dark matter UNLESS they make it for fpsc

Only just saw that Airslide, thanks for the info. Even if I will never use DarkMatter 1, they should of had all animations in one file.
