So if anyone has a wii and wants to see our creations and play some strikers when we get it heres the number.

WIIIIIII

It is basically the only method of gaming I am interested in anymore.

I would be all for the mii sharing but I don't know how to get online...

So yeah how do I do it?

I have some pretty strange Miis to show you, this was written on my Wii in fact so I'll add you.

It's the only console I play anymore. What's fun was that I told Wii Sports yesterday I'm left handed so I when I play it as a leftie enough I'll be ambidexterious.

[edit]

You have been added, here's my number.

5094 7209 5600 6249

How about everyone who has a Wii post their number here and register all the numbers, then we'd soon have a large network of friends.

In your opinion

I think the Wii is pretty awesome and I am definitely picking one up probably by September once Metroid Prime 3 is out. I'm also waiting for Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I just finally got to play the Wii for the first time last weekend at my cousins house. Wii bowling and Wii Boxing on the Wii sports game are positively awesome. I am an avid bowler and Wii Bowling feels alot like real bowling. Wii boxing is great. I love how that game feels when you play it. You can totally get into it. Fighting a friend in that is a really neat experience. I was so sweaty after playing Wii Sports I had to take a shower. That's a good thing that kids can get exercise while playing some games now too.

Resident Evil 4!!!
The godfather
Rayman raving rabbits (seriously, its quite fun)
Resident Evil Umbrella chronicals (out in a month or two)
Call of duty 3
Zelda
Farcry

Not to mention you can play all the decent gamecube games, including the remake of resident evil and other games.

In my opinion they top everything available on ps3 and xbox360, they are made better purely because of the gameplay. Seriously its worth to buy a wii JUST for resi evil 4, its just so good with the nunchuks.

For 250 bucks you can't go wrong with the Wii. At least if you aren't satisfied with it you haven't wasted your bank account like on a PS3

I'm sorry test of will, I have a 360 and i'm never getting a ps3. I happen to enjoy many games on the wii, and my roomies and I have a great time not to mention the virtual console and gamecube games, but then its just your opinion. But I wouldn't expect a lot of love from me if you bash wii.

I'd give you my friend code but I don't go online regularly! We don't have a wireless router I just use my USB WiFi connector!
It's a pity though!

I'd give my friend code too if my WiFi usb connector's drivers weren't always crashing on my Windows Vista.

I can't get enough of the VC either. I spent weeks playing Super Mario Bros until I could beat it, but I'm stuck on The Legend of Zelda and Ocarina of Time. Next I'm going to download A Link to the Past and Super Mario World.

We also have twlight princess, red steel, mario party 8, wii sports, and a host of gamecube games. Needless to say, the wii is played every day.

Code Dragon- I've sent you some mii's, hope you like them, our plaza is full so if you send any they might not get through ;p.

@Zombie 20:
I haven´t got a message yet so I added your number.
I added code dragon´s number too.

Will these numbers work with upcoming online games, or does it work like on the DS(separate numbers for each game)?

Zombie, maybe you could write all the numbers posted in this thread in your first post?

As a matter of interest, where exactly can one buy a wii for $250? Seriously, eBay, Amazon, they have nothing near that price.

If you consider letting your Wii cake in dust, then yes I am.

Actually, I played Metroid Prime 3 and RE4 today. Except RE4 on the Wii has a horrid learning curve especially if you've played and beaten the 3 year old game on the GameCube and PS2. Metroid Prime 3 was pretty good though.

Prime 3 is awesome so far. Much more challenging than the first 2 (in a good way) and it's not the control scheme. The controls are great and make it loads of fun. The challenge comes from some of the new elements of play, and the fact that there seem to be fewer creatures and more space pirate action, which was always my favorite in the Metroid Prime games. Graphics are considerably better than the GC games and run alot better. Now I find myself hoping they port the other 2 over with the new controls and stuff.

I bought a Wii today and its SOOO much fun! The bowling Sports game is a right laugh.

I've made a Mii but haven't seen that number anywhere - must read the manual...

Could Zombie add all the numbers into the first post? Also - what games are worth getting? I got Tiger Woods PGA 08 free with the Wii...

Heck no... The controls were awesome and it had no learning curve... I smashed Mercenaries which I couldn't do on the PS2 and the controls made the game incredibly easy even on on pro...

Do me a favour, if anyone here lives in the UK, and refuse to pay more than £20 for a Wii game. It's what PS2/Cube games can be made and sold for with a profit, and so it's what Wii games should be sold at. At the moment, I cannot afford any games whatsoever. It's rediculous for Boogie, a downright awful game, to be £50. Knocking off £1.50 for Zelda: TP from its already rediculous asking price of £40 even though there's no manual, the box is wrecked and the disc looks like brushed aluminum? Having a laugh, Game, Gamestation and Discs&Disks all at the same time?

Finally got my hands on a Wii - it's amazing! Neat to see your actions shown on the screen. Although Baseball on Wii Sports is a joke, both Tennis and Bowling show-off the Wii's capabilities magnificently.

I also got Wii Play because of the extra controller, and I thought it was a sweet deal. WRONG CHOICE. It basically sucked, I mean Billiards and Tanks were OK, but they all got very boring after the first few days.

I'm hoping to get online tomorrow, I'll give out my WiiDdress then. Which reminds me -- what games are there for the Wii that can play online multiplayer? (Like Halo for the XBOX...)

I don't have a Wii, but I've had a go at the tennis at my friends house. It was crap! The players seemed to react completely differently to how I was moving.
Does it make a lot of difference how you position the sensors, and do you have to calibrate before you play?

You don't control the movement of the player in tennis you just control the racket. Personally I'm not a big fan of Wii Tennis... Wii Bowling ftw..

The bowling game is DEFINATELY the best.. baseball seemed quite interesting (although I couldn't get the hang of it)... Tennis got boring quickly as the player's racket didn't really resemble the movement you made with the controller.

I'm actually quite annoyed that I've missed the window where Opera was free for the Wii - now is costs a few quid which I think its completely out of order considering its a free browser.

I cant wait for them to sort out WiiLinux

I could have downloaded it but didn't bother. Why would I want to browse the internet on my Wii when I have a PC which can do it far better.
