Yesterday I asked if Entity maker lets me make weapons, and got a reply sayins: " It only makes .X files and a texture FPSC-ready,
(it ads the FPE and BMP files). I'm new at this, I don't know what these are. So, WHAT ARE .X files, FPE, and BMP files. Also, please point me in the direction of a program(s) that do let me make weapons and a program(s) that lets me make characters and enemies.

The .X file is the 3D model.
FPE is a text file and contains all the entity information (texture name and the scripts that the model is using).
BMP is the abbreviation of Bitmap and an image format.

Progs that you can use to make entities is Milkshape.
Photoshop is very good for making textures.
And, please, do not bump your own threads
