when ever i try to run any of my old games that i made in DBC
or any classic DBC games like Strutt Your Stuff

it crashes out while loading with \"RUNTIME ERROR 6\"

i\'m running an Intel Core 2 Duo E6450 with 1024mb of RAM and a Radeon X1600PRo graphics card, Windows XP SP2

any ideas?

Strutt Your Stuff was cool
Are you running them from DB or are they standalone?
[EDIT]
Pretty sure Strutt was standalone?.
In that case I have no idea, sorry

Probably because DB is trying to access a file (could be a .x or .bmp) that it cannot find. Try running the raw DB code (rather than the .exe) and if this is the case it will tell you it cannot find a file.

yeah i did a forum search and found that =S

but i have no idea how it can be out of memory, when i have around 400mb memory free most of the time

Hangar18, these are standalone EXE files that i am trying to run, I've lost my source code for my old DBC games long ago, but these are the versions i released on my website, and they definitely don't have any files missing!

perhaps Lee could shed some light on why DBC might report that it is out of memory?

That's one of the few things that are great about Windows
