I already said this in the models and media section, but I'll try it out here.
I want to make my characters talk or show text-messages of what I want them to say, and do specific stuff. I want to make a game kind of like the CONDEMNED: CRIMINAL ORIGINS game for the 360, I could use a good scare, haven't been scared in a while. So please tell me how to make characters to talk or show text-messages of what I want them to say. I also want to know if it is possible to make my enemies sneaky and spooky like they are in CONDEMNED, if anyone knows if it is, please tell me how. And please explain what any files you talk about are, 'cause I don't know that much.
PLEASE HELP

For the love of the moderators, keep yourself to one board with this! People don't take too kindly of whiney requests anyhow.

If you're near to completly inexperienced with FPSC, don't try to recreate a proffesional game with it! It's not THAT easy..

Start with Nicky's Tips 'n Tricks. It's a sticky at the top of one of these boards. You've been posting on all of them so you must have seen it. Read it. And read the manual. We can tell that you aren't trying to learn, you just want everyone to hand you the answers.

Please search and read. We'll help you if you get stuck. But you've got to try.

Thanks guys, but to Fata Error, does the tga image work only for doors and switches, or does it work for ingame conversation, you werent very sespific about that. If it works for conversation, please tell me how to make the script. If you could show a sample script of it with some dialogue that could be in there, that would be very helpful. And tell me how to save it as an FPSC ready file.
Thanks.
And for everyone else, keep me posted with more on this subject of using text messages for ingame conversation and dialogue.

Sample Script (for conversation) showing 1 hud:

Script showing 2 or more huds:

Note: After state=6: , you can either place "state=0" to restart the conversation, or "state=3" to reshow the last hud, or "state=6" to loop the script at the end, or "destroy" to let the conversation partner disappear... (or something else, look at manual)

Note2: In these scripts, you need to approach the character or whatever you give the script to.Then go away and reapproach your conversation partner and another hud is displayed.

Hope that helped

It's against the AUP to post your age here, so just edit it out, or the mods will have to.
