It's a mini laptop that Asus reports will be released for only $199.. I know I'll be buying one as soon as they come out, supposedly late August.

(And yes, this is my first post in a long time... but I totally miss you guys)

Unfortunatly, being 6'3", I have quite large hands. I don't think it'd be a practical piece of hardware for me

Jimmeh! OMG!

Jess, my thoughts on that as well, but I'm thinking since it did have a few usb ports, I could plugin a proper keyboard and mouse...

But regardless I doubt I would use it for typing emails... I'd prolly use it in my car for mp3s and gps, and for use with my telescope, as well as taking it to wifi enabled coffee shops to show off how awesome I am.

Lots of cheap laptops being released recently. There's one company offering one for $150, called The Medison Celebrity. Hardware is outdated to hell, but it runs off of Fedora Linux, so the performance difference should be offset by that.

Although it makes you wonder what kind of battery life these kind of laptops can push with appropriately sized batteries. My 12.1" HP can only get, max, three hours off of it's original 6-cell battery.

Erico, it looks great.

Does it come with that cute Asian couple?

Either one?

If you looked at the disclaimers you would know it most certainly does not. However, as you can tell in the pictures, it will help you pick up hot girlfriends.

BTW, more info can be found here
