Some people were asking about tracks and rails recently, and as I needed some myself, I thought it would be good practice. Image and license is included it the zip.

Looks great, xplosys. I've had a similar idea going about my head, but this looks much nicer than what I had in my mind.

I was also thinking about helping out with the post you mentioned so I quickly knocked up a floor texture of 'some kind of rail track' which can be downloaded from 'Subway Designs' post.
Here is a screeshot.
