Hi,

I'm new to DarkBasic (having moved from QB) and am still very early in the development of my game. However, I like to think i'm a forward thinking guy and I was wondering...how does one add a patch to their game?

I realise that this is probably like asking how long is a piece of string, but if anyone can enlighten me, i'd much appreciate it.

I believe it's very much up to you although what's been suggested is compiling a small exe (160kb) with a .pck file which includes all your media and external files. Then when you fix a bug you can recompile the small exe and send it out to everyone.

Maybe you could have a #include patches or somthin' and it would come with patch 1.0 See where i'm goin' ? When a patch is done, you'll probably have to put it out as .dba, but at least it's a patch? Hope I could help ...
