When you first time make account and login you need to create character first

If it updates character list forever it means you dont have characters.

Im hosting on my own computer..

But i have also question.

Does anybody know where i can get free host wich has mysql server? So i could put my Master Server there so i dont need to keep my computer on always (That means you can host 24/7).

What do you mean?

It works if it works on my mysql server.

Let me explain.

I have main server (Well i would call this servers database on mysql)

When user hosts it adds the server to database
and my site what shows the servers is used to parse the servers to dbpro screen.. Easy..

But the main Mysql Database is on my computer and i would like to host it to free host what gots the mysql.

There was now again 2 guys online..

And now server crashed again..
I wonder why this happens when im online..

Well i look onto bugs tomorrow!

I hear that, lol. Most painful experience of my coding life was debugging multiplayer. I logged on and it works pretty well. How are you using your database? I'm guessing you store accounts in the mysql database, but what about player positions, messages,ect? Are those also in the database?

im not yet handling database saving so starting places and exps and every other stuff isnt yet handled by database. (I would save these if use logs out or connection losts)

Messages im handled as normal packets.. Also i look tomorrow if i can optimize the server..

The UI is borrowed from MU Online, it's just a placeholder. The hat (it's supposed to have a texture, but i dont know where it's gone), armor, sword (the textured one) and shield was modelled by me, in 3Ds Max. The other 3 swords were made by Roxas, in 3Ds max.

I dint start this project

Friend starts always with sparkys land blame him lol.

But mine isnt student version I got it from friend and dunno where he got hes.. Umm.. Yeah.. Lets drop this subject..

As you can see on this screenshot im running 4 clients now ang got no crash or so on.. And server is now faster..



I removed the monster for now. (Ill recode it)

If the client crashes when you try to join it means that server is full (I have set the server max connections to 15)

If you want own server theres guide in first post to do it.

You can install Direct X 9 and still use Dark Basic, like you can run a direct X 8 game with Direct X 9 installed. You shouldn't feel restricted to upgrade when Direct X 9 is backwards compatible.

I've downloaded it and now you've got a new version, I'll check it out later mate, not got the time for it now.

Sorry seppuku but i already closed this. Too many bugs.

Networking is really hard..

Well actually this worked.. But the lag was so terrible that it worked only on your own country otherwise server will freeze.

But i have something for you to test

I've attached my Open Source FFX W.I.P Battle System on this post
