Something is wrong with the bitmaps that I put into my programs they show up all weird looking like parts of it are hard to see and their all fuzzy looking and they have little dots all over them it just looks really weird please tell me if I have to change a setting or add something to my code first.
Thank You!

If you arn't already add an extra ",1" to the end of the load image command.

e.g.

I'm guessing it is probably a diplay problem. Are you trying to stretch the image or something? If you are messing around with the bitmap in any way other then loading it, that may be your problem.

The_Whinch it didn't work adding a 1 to the end it gives me an error I'm using DBPro so that might be why and Joe Cooning no I'm not doing anything to the image I just load it and then paste it to the screen. and this is what it looks like

This is what it should look like.

So if you know a reason why this happens please tell me and thanks for responding.

If it is just a display problem or something like that please tell me what I can do to adjust this and fix the problem.

if you can't see the images just go here.

I wish people would show us code to save the guessing Anyway...

You seem to be loading your bitmap into an image then pasting it to the display. On the LOAD IMAGE command, add the extra ',1' as suggested and let us know if that works.

Oh, and did I say to show us code?

Ok IanM I already tried using the ",1" at the end and i already said that it didn't work it gave me an error and as for the code you ask for I'm using it in my programs to display like a name or something at the beggining but even just the simple code:

load image "10.bmp",1
past image 1,screen width()/2,sceen height()/2
wait key

I tried that and it shows up like the image I posted.
Icfcfan I'll try upgrading my graphics drivers and see if that works.
Thanks for all your help.

Also could you tell me what the extra ",1" at the end is for because when I use it like

load image "10.bmp",10,1

it says

#100008: Perameter for 'LOAD IMAGE' do not match 'Filename,Image number' at line 1

the extra 1 at the end is a texture map telling DBpro not to use mip mapping and makes a clearer looking image.
your (load image "10.bmp",10,1) should work in pro try reinstalling the patch, you may need to manually install the patch.

I'm using the same version that was on the disk I havn't downloaded any patches I tried downloading patch 4.0 but then it just completely messed everything up not only the code that I already had but new code that I would just write with it accually if I wrote anything new with that patch it would go to a black screen for a few minuites and then go back no matter what even when i uninstalled dbpro and reinstalled it it still was the messed up so i just did a search for everything i put on my comp. that day and deleted it to get rid of the patch.

To update your video card driver goto the website of the card maker ,for example ATI.com, search for the drivers section, you need to find the drivers for your perticular card model. Download the drivers, it's usually a self installing file, the double click on it, or read the readme file that will come with it.

It sound to me you have a bad patched DBpro though, The autopatch program didn't work for me on the cd and I had to manuelly patch my DBpro when I first got it. I had some wierd problems until I got it fixed.
