I have tons of .x files in my game ... and about half of em wont let a texture go onto them >_< " all my textures and .x files are in the same folder ... any ideas ?"

We need more detail. What particular files? How are you trying to texture them?

you need to UV map objects before they will take a texture properly.
None of the in-built DB objects will take a texture without being UV mapped first.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it was rubbish.

Had same problem with you, but managed to fix it.

- Use BMP format
- the files need to be no more then 8 letters

If you want use Jpeg files, you need to use "load texture" then "texture object"

my objects are made in lightwave and then formatted into .x files ... ive tryed Uv mapping only works half the time ... all my images are in bmp format but what do u mean that they have to be 8 letters >.> ? btw we`ve applyed a texture to it, " that came with darkbasic" but the one we made wont go on it even with the exact same specs ... thank you guys ^^ i really appreciate this
