Newcomers DBPro Corner / animation file trouble

Whenever I try to export an animation to .3ds, it always has tons of files (1 for each frame). Is there any way I can do either of the following:

1: Convert all the files into one .x file
2: Import all the files directly into darkbasic pro

First of all what program are you using to export the animation? And second of all why are you exporting to .3ds when dbp does not support it any more?
