I was thinking of upgrading to DBP and I noticed that the 'online' version is much cheaper. I was wondering if anyone bought the online version and wished they had bought the normal version, and for what reasons.
Thanks
PS. DD, I am another betrayer!

The boxed version is great, you get the cd with the case, which is worth it i.m.o.

hmmm... the pack with AI and Phsics sounds good for cheaper than the actual price of DBP online...

I've got online, really the only thing I've missed is the armada of free models, graphics, etc that are supposed to come with the boxed version. But now that I'm able to make my own models, I really don't feel I'm missing much at all. I'd recommend getting the online rather than the boxed version if that's the road you're interested in taking.

I got the boxed, you get Starwraith and Riftspace for free, along with the DarkMATTER model collection. But I make my own models so I don't really need it.

Otherwise there's no difference. Although the box is pretty awesome.

Thats funny- DBPro boxed alone is worth around $40, they add Riftspace, Starwraith, and Darkmatter, call it all free but now its $80

OK, I think that, having read your opinions, I'm gonna go with DBP online. I really like having my games completely original, so the lack of models won't be a prob.

I bought the online version, I dont see anything Im missing out on, other than another box for recycling and a case I'd eventually lose.

What's the difference? I got Online, and I didn't notice anything.

I got online a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to use it, though.

I got the online version because i'm impatient and didn't feel like buying all of that "free" stuff.
