Since everyone is always on about making RPGs, here is a nice example of a simple RPG made for the BBC website.

You play as an Allosaurus; the aim is to explore the world and find animals to eat while avoiding those more ferocious than you. As you grow you become able to venture out of the forest to find bigger prey.
This game has a few simple dynamics and I believe is a great example of a well thought out and well "encased" game.

I didn't make the game by the way lol
The picture in the sig (made by INH) is when a crazy guy called Serdjo is allowed back on TCG forums. He got extremely noob slapped
He passed off a Sim City screenshot as his own work and generally went around declaring himself the greatest programmer of all time without ever posting any work. And... he also went around insulting people and telling them they aren't good enough.

I know you didn't make it, OBese87, it's been up for years. And about the image, I remember that guy, I was laughing so hard at his posts that (for some, probably unrelated reason) my left kidney, tht for some reason has been in two halves since birth, decided to cause as much pain as possible. When he comes back, I may well die laughing...Or I may go the same way as the animator of the legendary Black Beast of Argh from Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I once laughed so hard that I swear my heart ballooned up, it only lasted a split second but hurt like hell and scared the crap out of me for days, think it was a one-off though cos I've had no trouble since

LOL...Yeah it's in two halves but they are still connected, like having two smaller kidneys, so theoretically, I have three. But because they require more energy because there are three connections, my stamina is roughly...0...which is more than annoying
