I was gazing enviously at Dark AI when i came across a question. Does Dark AI and/or Dark Physics work with dbc?

The problem with the gaming community is people think that the resolution of a game defines how good it is. I am not afraid to make a game where the main character is 50x50.

But being as you don't know the effects of DarkAI, you can't make it. So there.

It may be possible. "Nothing is impossible at least you give it a go"

It might works by writing up functions. The TGC could've made one for DBC but they stopped working on DBC, they're more focus on DBP n DBX10

Come on guys, if someone are planning make one for DBC, we should give our support to that person.

Cheers, Anto

But I'm saying that he doesn't have DBP, so can't have DarkAI, so can't know the effects of it, so can't make a replica. If he does, I'll pay you all £500*.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've never seen you make a function before, let alone make something as complicated as this.
But hey, give it a go, why not

I have no doubt in his abilities, I'm sure that with a little time and effort he could code something similar to DarkAI. However, he has never seen DarkAI in action, and therefore cannot recreate it.

How hard can it be to know what it would do?

for one, on the websites list the features.
also, the names imply alot, for example...

Quote: "Hmmm, phisicks, lets see, mabe GRAVITY, LIQUIDS..."

Quote: "Hmmm, AI, lets see, mabe PATH FINDING, DISITIONS ON WHETHER TO ATTACK OR NOT,FOLLOWING THINGS perhaps..."

I make my point

[edit]

my other point, CODE DARK DRAGON, CODE LIKE YOUR GETTING PAID FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!

(Y=M*X+B)=(X=(Y-B)/M)=(B=Y-M*X)=(M=Y-B/X)
and if you can figure out what it means i will give you a cookie.

That doesn't matter because even if he did he couldn't code the exact effects because probably half the things could only be made in dbpro, but he should be able to make a very good ai and physics plugin with most of the features of Dark AI and Dark Physics.

I would if i had the money

I agree with Lucifer and INH, DD doesn't have the knowledge to pull this off, whether we are talking about programming or the workings of Dark AI.
Don't take it as an insult though DD, you just need time to learn more before you can make something like that.
I'm sure you could do some AI but not on the same scale as Dark AI.

The mathematics in such a physics engine would require a very extensive knowledge of physics and probably some basic calculus. I don't think any single person could make an effective physics engine on their own without spending quite a bit of time and effort on it. And in the end it probably wouldn't be as accurate or fast as dark physics.

nothing, i just thought it would be cool and so i supported you instead of doubting you.

A^2+b^2=c^2, but D^2-A^2/g^2*t-r-o-u-b-l-e = w+i+t+h / a*(c*a/p^i+t+o+l)/T+rhyming+with/P+f/o*r^(p-o-o/l)

That equation has a quote from a movie in it. Find it for a cookie

true, the dark ai peeps had a whole team of people working on it. heck if you did that all alone id declare you master of all programming.

A^2+b^2=c^2, but D^2-A^2/g^2*t-r-o-u-b-l-e = w+i+t+h / a*(c*a/p^i+t+o+l)/T+rhyming+with/P+f/o*r^(p-o-o/l)

Good try mate, I know coding AI is probably the toughest part of programming a video game! The best AI engine that I've seen that been coded in DBC is "Strutt Your Stuff" written by Danny Akuma. Want a AI engine we gotta track him down.

Cheers, Anto

Check out luke's a star path finding. It's a good place to start for ai in DBC and he's documented the function quite well.

16? Really? I've seen some guys a LOT older than 16, or maybe they just developed early
Well I'm nearly 125% of the average then
I Didn't say my age! (You're not allowed to)

hmmm... just thought, could you teach a kid to program "hello world" before they could say it?
