I believe it...

I know a so far happy couple who met in WoW. I don't think they'll go as far as getting married in the game, but they sure play it alot together.

This is nothing new really.. I've seen it happen before, to friends of mine actually. Although I admit that their wedding certainly wasn't held online and irl at the same time - so this couple have that edge

How strange, personally I wouldn't have Darth Vader at my wedding, but whatever floats your boat. Some people do weird things, but as long as it makes them happy, no matter how weird it seems, it's good.

Can anyone explain why there was a Star Wars vibe? - I mean fair enough have a theme wedding, but don't just throw in your favourite videogame and movies into the mix!
Darth Vader looked a lot like it was one of their friends who had this bright idea, and those two were too chicken to tell him to sod off!

Maybe I'll get married one day, and have a Pirates and Ninja's theme, ohh and pokemon!

In that case, am I invited? Not that I like pokemon, it's just I want to throw things at the guy who dresses up as Pikachu.

Probably the fact you wave your light saber around too much, could decapitate the best man or something.

You killed my father!!!

Imagine crashing a video game wedding? Just totally come in there with your lvl 80 blood elf necromancer mage whatever and beat the poop out of everyone. Then the groom would just go... "what the heck man, I pay 15 dollars a month for this!"

Don't really know why, but I imagined you were married with kids already, Van B.

Why did I get such an idea... odd.

I have vague plans for World Domination

If the RL marrage goes anything like the MMORPG marrages I've seen it will happen like this...

One day the dude wakes up / logs in to find all the possesions he had in his house gone.

In utter disbelief the poor dude asks around to what happened and finds the girl he thought he married was actualy a bloke pretending to be female to get an invite to the property

The first rule of MMORPG is never let anyone in your house!

I used to live in the same street as a Star Wars nut and his two kids were called Luke and Leya.
