Hi,

I want to move space from one (C) partition to another (k) in SERVER 2003. How would I go about doing this?

It wouldn't install. Any other ideas? Any command line functions?

Normally you set partitions with Fdisk (DOS prog) but it can't change the sizes without first removing and then redoing them, you would lose all data.

Partition Magic is the only way to go AFAIK. Don't know if Windows have it's own in XP/Vista.

Google gParted
Run it from a LiveCD
I suggest Puppy Linux's because it's small and fast and works.

Partition magic will work on XP just fine, however when it comes to formatting your hard drive you might find that partition magic has taken over this operation, and the formatting could fail. You will then need to add a new boot sequence to the drive to fix it, and find yourself spending hours fixing it... like I had to a couple of days ago.
